Snake Plant Laurentii
Snake Plant Laurentii
Sansevieria Trifasciata
With its bold, upright leaves and vibrant yellow-edged variegation, this low-maintenance beauty brings effortless style and fresh greenery to your home!
The Snake Plant 'Laurentii' is a classic beauty with tall, upright leaves featuring vibrant green centers and bold yellow edges. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned plant enthusiast, this low-maintenance plant is perfect for adding a touch of elegance and style to any space. It thrives in a range of light conditions and requires minimal watering, making it an ideal choice for busy plant owners.
Plant Care
Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light but can tolerate low light. Avoid direct sunlight as it can scorch the leaves. The plant’s golden-yellow variegation is brightest in higher light conditions.
Water: Water sparingly and allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Watering about every 2–3 weeks is typical, depending on the environment. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so it's best to underwater than overwater.
Humidity: Tolerates average humidity but prefers slightly higher humidity. It can do well in most indoor environments without the need for extra humidity.
Temperature: Prefers warm conditions between 65–85°F (18–29°C). Keep it away from cold drafts and temperatures below 50°F (10°C).
Feeding: Fertilize once a month during the growing season (spring and summer) with a diluted, balanced houseplant fertilizer. No need to fertilize in fall and winter when the plant is dormant.
Repotting: Repot every 2–3 years or when it becomes rootbound. Use well-draining soil such as cactus or succulent mix to avoid root rot.
Pet-Friendly: Toxic to cats and dogs, so keep out of reach of pets.
